New June is a cake bakery located in Brewerytown, Philadelphia, PA.
We offer a design-forward selection of seasonal bespoke cakes, cookies, pies & tarts. Made with the highest quality ingredients, our cakes are not only beautiful, but delicious too.
New June’s cakes, and their fresh take on sheet cakes in particular, have been featured in the New York Times T Magazine, on Good Morning America, Food & Wine, and Architectural Digest, among many others. Noelle has been named a 2024 Rising Star Chef award winner by Star Chefs magazine, and New June received a coveted 2023 “Best of Philly” nod from Philadelphia Magazine.
Noelle Blizzard
Noelle opened New June in 2021 during the height of the pandemic, when her passion for "baking-as-pandemic-therapy" turned into an ambition to combine a love for seasonal desserts and pastries into whimsical, nearly too-beautiful-to-eat cakes.
Noelle has enjoyed a decades-long career in marketing and studied creative writing at Saint Joseph's University, but when it comes to baking she is fully self-taught, and a ferocious consumer of baking cookbooks and online tutorials.
When not baking, Noelle is the mom of two little cake-loving girls, Piper and Margaux. She lives in the Fairmount neighborhood of Philadelphia with her husband David.
