On Thursday January 16 from 5:30 -9pm we are hosting our first decorating class of the New Year! - Taking place in our BRAND NEW BAKERY, located at 2623 W. Girard Ave (Brewerytown)!
This class is designed to take our standard decorating class curriculum to the "next level", and attendees will be the first to experience a decorating class in our new space.
The class will cover:
Cake assembly best practices: how to stack and frost cakes
Guests will have the option to color their own cake and learn how to achieve a smooth even finish
Hands-on instruction for how to mix and color buttercream, as well as prep and fill piping bags and eliminate air bubbles
How to creatively develop custom designs
How to do vintage piping with various piping tips
How to add design extras (think pressed flowers, edible flowers, cherries, spray glitter, pearls, butterflies and more!)
Swiss buttercream 101: how to use, store, re-use, troubleshoot, and more.
PLEASE NOTE: each ticket includes 1 cake for 1 decorating activation for 1 person.
This class will be lead by Noelle Blizzard, Owner & Founder of New June, with one of our senior cake designers, and offers:
Smaller class size: instructor to guest ratio 1:3
Pre-Class design prep and customization: guests can choose cake size and shape, cake flavors, and submit requests for instruction topics beforehand

Cakes booked through the Online Shop are available for local pick-up ONLY, Wednesday to Saturday from our Kensington location.
