We are currently hiring a Cake Baker

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Baker to join our 8-person team. The ideal candidate for this position has:

• At least 2 years experience in a professional bakery setting, experience baking cake in particular and is familiar with techniques & recipes for various cake types, and fillings & frostings (Swiss buttercreams, jams, pastry cream, curds, French buttercream, soaks, etc);
• Comfortable working with a variety of commercial baking equipment (30 qt mixers, commercial ovens, wash stations, etc.).
• Has great time management, be very detail oriented, flexible and adaptable to a fast paced and complex order and fulfillment schedule.
• Works well under minimum supervision with the ability to finish prep/baking needs within the day
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for at least 8 hours
